Day 1: Arrival in Souillac
Souillac is the perfect village to start your journey between river and architecture. You will fall under the spell of its stone bridges and the abbey of Sainte Marie.
Day 2: Souillac – Rocamadour – 21 km or 28 km
Today we will meet in Rocamadour, a place of pilgrimage. To get there, you will cross the Ouysse Valley along the Dordogne and its magnificent panoramas. The most beautiful awaits you on the heights of Rocamadour, a village built on a cliff face.
Day 3: Rocamadour – Gourdon – 33 km
You will leave the city by its heights before crossing the superb Regional Natural Park of the Causses du Quercy exceptionally well preserved. Before reaching the old village of Gourdon, coloured in Ochre, you will pass through the Notre-Dame des Neiges chapel and its magnificent frescos.
Day 4: Gourdon – Sarlat – 46 km
A day full of discovery and history awaits you today. You will cycle through the countryside to conquer the many castles that make up the richness of this region. The day ends in Sarlat, world famous for its small streets and its gastronomic heritage, take the time to savour all its specialities.
Day 5: Sarlat – Souillac – 31 km
You will follow the Dordogne and cross a green and colourful countryside. You will see on the heights the castles, guardian of our History like that of Fénelon made of lauzes, regional stone. End of the hike at the end of the day in Souillac.

This day is devoted to visiting the Cougnac caves and then discovering the many castles that overlook the Dordogne. You will then head towards the village of Domme and then towards La Roque Gageac and its high cliffs.
Day 5: La Roque Gageac – Les Eyzies – 30 km or 54 km
You will follow the meanders of the Dordogne through the superb village of Beynac and its castle with an extraordinary view of the valley before leaving to discover one of the deepest chasms in Europe, the Proumeyssac chasm. The day ends with prehistory in Les Eyzies, follow in the footsteps of our ancestors!
Day 6: Les Eyzies – Sarlat – 26 km or 54 km
Two possible routes for this stage. The longest will take you to Montignac in the valley of man to visit the caves of Lascaux and its wonderful museum combining history and modernity by its structure, prepare yourself for an unforgettable visit! The day ends in Sarlat, world-famous for its narrow streets and old shops. Take the opportunity to taste the rich gastronomy of this city, carnard foie gras, cheese and truffle!
Day 7: Sarlat – Souillac – 31 km
You will follow the Dordogne and cross a green and colourful countryside. You will see on the heights the castles, guardian of our History like that of Fénelon made of lauzes, regional stone. End of the hike at the end of the day in Souillac.
